A Note on the possible transit strike, Updated December 20, 9pm.

The transit strike will almost surely affect our exam tomorrow. I continue to plan to be present to give the exam as scheduled. Please do your best to make it to the exam. For almost all of you, it is in your interest to take the exam tomorrow, even if the opportunity to put it off seems welcome. I think that you are likely to do better with the material fresh in your minds, than with more time to study. I know that many of you have been working hard, and will be disappointed not to be able to finish the course successfully now.

As of now, I am unaware of any arrangements the college has made for students who are unable to attend the exam due to a strike. They have posted a notice on the QC website which just says that the college will run as planned. I hope that the college will provide some sort of plan for make-ups for students who are unable to come to the exam tomorrow, which I will try to follow. If not, I will do my best to accommodate students on a case-by-case basis.

If I hear anything in the morning, I will post again, but unless I hear something new, this is the last word from me before the exam. I hope to see you at the exam.
